Sunchilla was born out of a simple beach problem: Why are beach chairs so bulky, heavy, and annoying to carry?

We wanted something that felt more like a travel essential — lightweight, packable, easy to throw in the car, easy to take away with you, and easy to carry even when your arms are already full.

So, we made it.

Designed for Aussie beach life.

We’re a brand built around sunshine, salty hair, sandy feet, and spontaneous beach missions.

Sunchilla is made for families who bring everything, couples who pack light, travellers who live for summer, and anyone who thinks beach days should feel effortless.

Founded by friends.

Sunchilla was founded by three friends who’ve known each other for years — the kind of friends who grew up spending entire summers at the beach together.

Fast forward a few decades and now we’ve got kids of our own — and we’re still at the beach. Just with more gear, more snacks, and a lot less patience for clunky setups.

We created Sunchilla because we wanted something better. Something lightweight enough to carry with everything else.
